Choose Your Warmth
Firstly choose your fill, this will be determined by the region in which you live. and your stockist will be the best person to consult here. So whether it be Dacron®, Feather and Down, Down, Wool, Cotton, or any other fill available it will be governed by the season, your region in which you live, and of course your preference. Then choose your level of warmth. To make your selection easier we have introduced a rating system that works in colours and affiliated words. Or in the case of some countries would be Tog rating and colours. A tog is the measure of thermal resistance of an area, and gives an indication of the sort of warmth you can expect from that article. The higher the tog, the higher the warmth. Previously ratings have been indicated as Summer, Winter and Spring, but as we are all different in body temperature this was not a true indication of the comfort an individual would receive, and only seemed to confuse the consumer further.* Each quilt is clearly marked for easy selection.

Once you have selected your half of the quilt you can then choose your partners, or they can choose their own. When you get home you simply join the two halves together to form one quilt. Each quilt half once it is out of the packet is sewn with coloured piping indicating its level of warmth on three sides of the quilt, with the exclusion of the joining wall. So they can never be confused.

On the wall of the Quilt a plurality of fasters has been fixed to the quilt wall, that is both negative and positive joiners. Meaning that any quilt half will always join together with another quilt half. Demonstrated here is the Hook & Loop faster showing both Hook and Loop fasteners fixed to the quilt wall. This way when the quilt half’s are juxtaposed its simply a matter of flipping one quilt half over to line up with the other half and join them together. and because the fasteners are sewn into a wall of the quilt, it means there is no cold spot where they join in the middle. Makes you wonder why no one did it before.
